Yes and no. I feel that for most people, it's not a choice, but then there are those teenagers who chose to be gay because that was the popular thing.
For the most part, though, I don't think it's a choice.

I couldn't agree more. My jr. year of college I had to do classroom observations at a local high school and I heard a freshman girl say, I shit you not, "I decided to become a lesbian last night."

I really don't think so. People are born the way they are. To use what Sunny said before, it's like eye color. You can't change it with a descision. If you could, there would be next to no gays, since most people would choose soiciety's defination of normality over not fitting in, if they had the choice.
Now, of course, we bi's have a choice. We can say, "Look at his/her ass!" Then we can pretend to be 'normal' so we never get in trouble with any of the bigots. What they don't know won't hurt 'em.
We're just awesome like that.

Okay, I just want to say I'm impressed with yahoo music (I'm putting this on this thread for a reason). On the radio station I listen to Born This Way just came on. I'm surprised, considering it takes awhile for new songs to reach radios. Good job to yahoo music.

I agree with some people considering it trendy, but for those who truly are gay/lesbian/bi/etc I don't think it's a choice. If it were a choice most wouldn't go through the struggle of coming out if they could just choose not to be in the first place.

That is pretty much what I said.
Wolves are pretty much nature's version of riding a motercycle; they help you go fast, they give you one hell of a thrill, but wolves are just a bit more likely to end said thrill with death.

Good. Almost nobody here agrees with me on my views of fish, though. THEY DO TO HAVE A UNDERGROUND LAIR WHERE THEY PLOT THE DEMISE OF OUR SPECIES! I KNOW IT!
The shark is the underwater bully. They're always eating littler fish. What do you mean your bully never ate little kids at your school? Lucky...

You agree with me!?!?! Wonderful! I knew it would be a good idea to invite you to the forum!
Fish are the ones who are the most effected by oil spills. Why aren't they helping us clean up?

That's a very good question....
Now we just need to find someone fluent in fish to ask them

I know the reason. They're dead. That's why they can't help.

A classmate of mine my sophomore year of college put it something like this, "If it were a choice, do you think I'd choose to be made fun of, do you think I'd choose to get shoved into lockers for two and a half years of hell, do you think I'd choose to be thought of as a second class citizen, do you think I'd choose to be treated as sub human." Guy was a jackass but he could make a point.
