I'll answer this question with what I said before...I believe that once our generation gets into office, whether it be the House or Congress, there will be more votes towards legalizing gay marriage than those opposed, considering our generation is much more accepting to differences (color, religion, orientation, etc) as the previous generations.
Of course, there are still going to be some who will be opposed, but for the most part, people will come to accept it and think that orientation defines who a person is just as much as eye color; they'll notice, but they won't really care.

It'll improve yes, but old prejudices die hard. Look how long it took from the freeing of slaves in America to blacks having equal rights. Yes, but I think the difference between the two, the fact that being African American can only be a genetic trait, rather than a random one, means that it's harder to separate and ostracize in such a consistent and all-encompassing manner. Also, emotional ties. Someone with a gay brother/sister/daughter/son who is otherwise opposed to homosexuality is more likely to be change their mind. (Not that it always works that way, but *shrugs*) Cropping up behind enemy lines So I think it'll be a quicker transition. Not quick. But quicker.

Yes, but I was only mentioning that when it comes to things like that, our generation really doesn't care.
I never mentioned the word all. When it comes to things like this, you can't expect all, sadly.

I like to think that most people want to do good. It just takes time for people to see what it is that is good because of the way we are programmed and how humans develop. People cling so fervently to what it is they believe because they feel that those beliefs define them; they identify who they are by those beliefs. If you take those away, people feel that they have lost themselves. Thus change is a very difficult thing to realize.

Again, old prejudices die hard. I'd like to see it happen, I'm just a bit more skeptical that it can.

Oh well now I feel like a failure. Only 12, lol Since it's kind of the topic, do you feel that being gay is a choice? Not necessarily so black and white, if you feel the need, whoever is reading.
