I Agree, Its so hard to get good reviews, they read the whole story and favorite the story but don't review half the time, kinda makes people want to quit writing to see what the people faving them would do.....or is that just me.

Yeah I agree. Every story I've written I've gotten like a million alerts/favs/etc. and the most I've ever gotten is 9. I've read that in Author's Notes you shouldn't beg for reviews but all I want is to get more reviews.
Then for one fanfic I wrote (it was Bella/Alice) I got one review for the chapter and all the person said was gross. I kid you not. That was all they said. Remove the two females in a relationship and my story was actually very clean minus a SUGGESTION of sex. Had it not been anonymous I would've reported them but instead I deleted it. So yeah I hate unnecessary reviews. -_-

You see, that's exactly what I'm talking about. It's frustrating. That is why there should be a "if you're faving this, then you NEED to review it too" thing on FF so that the people would review it. Sigh. We just can't win. I did kind of cheat on one occasion. I asked everyone if they wanted to see an Alice/Amara/Bella story. Guess how many reviews that brought in?  |

No, no, that's not what I meant. I merely meant that I totally cheated to get more reviews and it worked rather nicely. So maybe that makes ME the bad person. I dunno.

Well,i try to review all fics i read but like someone said is really hard to give meaningful reviews every chapter,so i usually said it was great,i loved ...I find myself repetitive but i don't have great insightful things to said either just that i really love that fic so i stick with that Of course in a chapter or other i give a substantial review but as you can see english isn't my language so it's kind of hard.Anyway,i agree people should review more it's only fair if you're enjoying someone else story ;D |

Aside from that, people don't leave long enough reviews for me. I mean yeah the number is cool or whatever it's awesome cuz your all 'Oh sweet I got 'X' number of reviews...' But they are always like 'Great, can't wait for an update'. I'd much rather have like two long ass reviews than 70 one liners. ya know?
