This thread is basically where we get to discuss which actors/actresses fit the roles of the characters the most and who doesn't.
I think Ashley, Peter, Julia and Dakota fit their characters. Dakota has that innocent child-like look that Jane was described as having but we all know that's misleading. Ashley has pixie-like features, in my opinon, and Peter makes a great doctor. Oh, and Julia is awesome as Leah, but I might be biased because I love Leah.
As for ones who don't work, for me, has to be the majority of the wolf pack. Chaske, Bronson, Kiowa and Tyson do not match the description of the wolves. Kiowa is skinny, I could see his collarbone clearly in New Moon, and Tyson is not bulky like Quil was. Heck, Bronson and Chaske looked a little flabby in a couple of scenes.
So yeah. Who works for you and who doesn't?

The directors, they don't work for me one bit. I largely blame Hardwicke for most of the cast since she was the who originally cast the movie. I think had the movie gotten a half decent director it wouldn't have been the mess it was.

I think David did what he could with what Chris and Catherine left him. I personally loved Eclipse and it's style, but to each their own.

I definitely go for Ashley Greene. At first I didn't really know who she was, and I was fully against a Twilight movie seeing it would definitely kill the image of vampires. Well, Ashley Greene is smoking hot, and her being Alice Cullen just added to that hotness. I think she is the only person that could look THAT hot as a vampire. Kellan Lutz is totally the Emmett Cullen kind. Not only that he's huge, but he's good at making scary Emmett's face too lol.
I agreed on the Dakota bit. I was actually wondering what she'd look like as a vampire. When New Moon came out, all I could say was wow.
I don't mind Kristen Stewart playing Bella though, but I do mind Robert Pattinson playing Edward. Not only that he's ugly, but I don't have men with hairy chest attractive. When he stripped in New Moon, I literally was cringing all the way through. It didn't help when I was sitting at the front seeing those seats were the only seats left. So not helping, I was glad I didn't vomit after that.
I don't really pay attention to the wolf that much, but Tyler and Alex are my two favorite wolf boy. Alex is just so...cute! That scene at Emily's place when he was back with Jacob and apologized to Bella, adorable!

Orriginally Juan Bayona was rumored to direct Eclipse, and after what he did with The Orphanage, I think he could have made it a pretty good movie with what he had. And I would have had to go see it because he's definitely going to be a big director some day. |

My favorite wolf boys are Taylor, Alex and BooBoo (I feel like a pedo saying that last one, but it's so true).
And yes, Alex and Kellan are two very nice looking guys.
Kristen Stewart does a fine Bella, in my opinion, I just think the role of Bella didn't give her room to improve.

Definitely not. Kristen Stewart is a good actress, as I've seen with her previous movies that she starred in. Bella is...well, anyone can portray as her. She's just so easy! Even emo chicks can portray her!

Sorry the only move Stewart was good in for me was Panic Room, and there she was like 12. To me she's a rather flat one note actress with the same confused facial expression.

Panic Room was good. I watched it and was like 'Wait, that's Kristen Stewart?' then started watching her other movies. I'm ashamed to say I haven't seen The Runaways, I guess I really, really should see it..In the near future.
And also, I think Elizabeth something...the one that portrays Esme, is really, really good. I couldn't imagine a better person for Esme.

There's only one Welsh actor in the movie. And I can't stand him as a person, actor, and cringe when he gets a new role.

Was I the only one who pictured Lucius Malfoy as Caius? Everytime I read the book that was my Caius.
