What about making an outline of what chapters will consist of what?
Like, chapters 1-3 are the introduction chapters. 1 introduces Bella, what she is, her pack and the pack setup, 2 introduces "that guy" and the conflict with him. 3 is when she talks with "her" and then decides she's had enough and so that's when she leaves?
You could probably stretch it out a bit before the capturing thing. And then once that's been done, that's when Bella and Alice start to get closer. Throw in Bella's pack, her jealous friend and "him" again and you could add in a lot of drama and a bit of action. Add in the La Push pack and you could have even more action and a much longer story.
