So I've been thinking about writing a story and I've been stuck on whether to make it one POV or two. Now, I know other stories have multiple POV's, but I thought it would be a good question to ask the masses.
Which do you prefer? Do you just like reading from one character's POV, surprised by the actions of another, or do you like to read more than one POV, knowing the thoughts on a subject from more than one person?
Explaining why you chose your option is encouraged.

Voted.
Um. Single. 'Cause the story is more streamlined, less disjointed, and therefore it's easier for the readers to get into it. Also, means the... there's a word I'm looking for here, but it's too early for my newly-awoken brain so stuff that. I'll explain more later.

I feel the same, single yo. And sometimes its easier for the author as well,to not have to keep up with so many POVs

Oh, and I feel I should mention if you're writing in third you can get away with multiple viewpoint characters.

Well, there a loophole right there.

It can be a subtle viewpoint change, more like omniscience as opposed to a giant XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX denoting change of POV.

Well in novels I'm used to either a Roman numeral break similar to what Stephen king does or an extended break between chapters. However a lot of web based places don't allow the extended break making something like ____________________ necessary.

What about the classic 3rd person! I vote for that.

I agree! I think that's the best way to handle multiple PoV's anyway.
