It's because it's too heartbreaking to read your stuff, azb. Most people probably suggest it with a word of caution, "If you don't like getting your heart ripped out because an amazing piece ends too quickly, do..not...read...azb's work" It's like the Surgeon Warning on cigs. |

(Thanks, Enj. I didn't know you'd read any of it) HG, a tiny bit. But I was just teasing lemonelephant, and this is meant to be an on-topic board So, hey, inspiration! (ninja subject change) I don't get it from songs, much. Every now and then something will tickle my writing fancy, but for the most part it's a no go. I do get some from other writers. Like HG said, with fanfiction it's an inspiration taken from what isn't there. But as for original writing, it may be just something I'm reading at the moment, that's just brushing on an idea I'd like to explore a bit. |

For original things my brain will stitch things together. Like my original works started when someone innocuously mentioned two TV shows that really had nothing to do with one another and just took off at light speed.

Yeah? I write lots of letters to people (fictional or dead or whatever. And I don't send them), and thinking about what I'd say to them sometimes leads to an idea that I want to dig at a little.
