At least the winner wasn't Inception.

I'll stop being mean. Scout's honour! I'm glad it won. And James Franco keeps doing this weird head tilt thing that puts his eyes in shadow and makes him look creepy.

That moment was the best. She served my Uncle Dave when she was a bartender, once. I love her. (He's not actually my uncle. Just call him that )

I was honestly rooting for anything that wasn't The Social Network personally.
And WTF was with the order? They put best director like a half an hour before the best picture.

I didn't watch. Actually I didn't watch any of the awards shows. But when I was in LA I saw the ridiculous traffic for the grammys. I think it's called the grammys
anywho, what did I miss?

At the Oscars or in general? For the Oscars, I only missed one of my predictions but the awards go as follows:
Film: King's Speech Actor: Colin Firth Actress: Natalie Portman Supporting Actor: Christian Bale Supporting Actress: Melissa Leo (Dropped the F-bomb and was adorable) Director: Tom Hooper- King's Speech.
As for in general, not much that I know of.

I know in my British-ness I should be pleased with Best Picture, and it was so obvious it would win, but I really, really wanted Black Swan to get it, and Aronofsky to get Director.
Happy to see neither Inception or The Social Network get any of the major awards, but do think they deserved the ones they got, especially Visual Effects going to Inception, because they were mind blowing.
