Well, you are a female, so referring to you along with "you guys" wouldn't be correct, now would it? So in essence, what I said to them relates to you. Twas a joke, ma'am.  No need to panic. My novel is going to be an original version of Blood Solstice. Similar plot, similar kinds of things (character development, fluff, action, etc.). I'm removing all Twilight references and making everything my own story. I've spoken with Enjo. on one occasion regarding something I'm doing with it and I think that my vampires are fairly different from Meyer's. I am trying to find a consultant, someone who I can trust and bounce ideas off of. I have one person who is interested in it and I am slowly getting to know him for that, but I could always use a female opinion on things since it's going to be an F/F couple like in Blood Solstice. We'll see where that goes. |

No, I meant use her idea of vampires. Like use the way her vampires hunt and feed and stuff.

Oh. No, I've already altered the vampires I'll be using a significant amount. Some things will be a bit similar, yes, but there will also be big differences. I'll be keeping the "descending from heaven" glow aspect, for instance, as well as the mating and feral parts. The scent extension to mark territory, using pheromones to lure in prey, the reattaching of limbs...all that from Blood Solstice will be incorporated into the story.
I'd like to think that my vampires are original enough compared to Meyer's.
