Ehh I think it depends on the level of nerdiness. I think you guys are confusing mathematical/scientific intelligence for nerdiness. When the nerd is a know-it-all, who walks around with his hand held computer out and doesn't make eye contact with anyone, and mumbles algorithms to himself/herself. There's a difference.
