I've decided The Twilight series is probably one of the worst works of "literature" ever written. I'm here for Alice. That is all. High five! Same boat right here. What brought this about?

A WONDERFUL picture of Ginny Weasley vs Bella Swan where the picture of Ginny said "When Harry broke up with me for my safety, I tried to steal the sword of Gryffindor. I restarted DA with Neville and Luna to defy Snape's regime, and later fought in the battle of Hogwarts"
Bella's said "When Edward left me for my safety, I became nearly comatose for months, and put myself in danger to hear his voice."
and it was then I realized WOW, how antifeminist this horrible book is. I mean I knew Bella sucked, but HOLY CRAP. JK ROLLING> Stephanie Meyer.
Always has been, always will be.

I've decided The Twilight series is probably one of the worst works of "literature" ever written. I'm here for Alice. That is all. I wouldn't even call it literature, I think it's about as far from literature as a book can be. And I call hubris that she deigned to think so highly of her work she A) compared it to classic works and B) included discussion questions.

Lems, you make me smile. That is epic and true and...well, true. At least fan fiction exists for us to right her (huge amount of) wrongs, eh?

Um....I'm sorry, but, uh, you're just now...JUST NOW realizing that Twilight is shit incarnate? Still: I am proud.

No, I TOTALLY knew before.
However the Harry Potter vs Twilight never ceases to amuse. Who REALLY thinks Twilight is better? I mean, COME ON! TROLOL.
And Enj, I agree, I was using the term EXTREMELY loosely.

Soooo I'm hoping I'll have the time to finish Moondance over summer. Because as I look at my list of classes for next fall...I'm realizing, if I don't finish it over summer, I'm probably never going to finish it. And people would HATE me. I'm going to have THE biggest work load ever! D: not to mention I might get a promotion around that time.

I work at a store called Janie & Jack, it's expensive baby clothes. Think if Alice had a kid, that's where she'd buy the clothes. HA
and tomorrow I sign up for the classes I want, hopefully I'll get them, but I'm not sure. I'm an undeclared major, but I will be declaring it soon as Religious Studies with a History minor.
