Thanks SunSun. I read over and noticed my name being mentioned as a non-lesbian writing lesbian romance. I'd like to think that I'm doing well with that despite not being one myself. Oh, and in my book, the main couple are lesbians. More femslash love. Plus there will be a gay couple and straight couples...give everyone some love.

She should get the girl, enjo! If it's the novel I'm thinking of. And yes, my brain is often picked by enjo, but I'm a terrible girl to be used for such information Yes it is the one you're thinking of. I just don't have another female character that isn't really spoken for. Maybe the sequel.

HollowGo,
Spread the love around! Everyone could use a little more love. Your book? A personal project?

Yes, I am trying to turn Blood Solstice into an original novel. I have the characters for the most part made, I know what my vampires will be like and how they will differ from Meyer's and I have the general plot, I am just having trouble writing it out.

Well given your writing talent, I would say that the real trouble has been overcome, given that the idea is there. I am no writer myself, though, so I can only speculate. Is it going to differ much from Blood Solstice, other than what you have to do to step away from Meyer's work?

Yes, one reason why I've been absent from FF for so long.
It's about a supernatural heist crew. Like Leverage meets Buffy.

Enj,
Nice! Hopes of publication or only self gratification?

It's going to differ a little bit. The characters will be completely original, naturally. I will be taking my OCs and some of the original tweaks I did to Meyer's characters and adding them into my characters to further give them their own personality. A lot of the parts from Blood Solstice (the wolves being the biggest) will be absent. But the key things (main character being hunted down--albeit for a different reason--main character slowly becoming a vampire) will remain. Plus the high school drama, too.

Oh publication eventually, but it's really fun to write as well. The dynamic between all the characters is good fun.

When Jessica and Lauren got their butts kicked, there was fist pumping going on. I have to admit that.

Sunshine, Oh I know, but I'm pretty bad even on that scale.

There will be a scene when the main character stands up for her being gay and for her new family and tells off the "Lauren" and "Jessica" of the novel. She'll clock one of them too and tell them not to screw with the people she loves and then she'll walk off. So there's that.

JT, don't sell yourself too short. I mean, you write women well enough. And you even managed to write crazy women convincingly. Evidence of some insight. Hollow, get some! Serves her right Enj, I hope to see your book on the shelf someday! I promise that I won't brag too much to my friends that once upon a time, I conversed with the renowned author.

Yeah, it's just the writing that's the hard part. I've been trying to find a consultant to bounce ideas off of and help work with me on this, but it's hard to find someone local. Enjo, you know anybody by chance?
