You mean you're writing a story where Bella's a hobbit?
Bella Vampira or loosely "Vampiric War"

When I say "halfling" I mean half human/half vampire, not a dang blasted hobbit.
I also need a name for the A/B/V story I want to write in the future. I think that one will have to do with dusk or dawn. And I'm considering renaming the A/B/R story.

I've never heard that term before. What's it mean?

In Eastern European folklore a dhampir is a creature born of a vampire father and a human mother. Generally they have most of the strengths and few if any of the weaknesses. B

Then yes, that is exactly what she'll be. And for once, Alice will be taller than her. Of course, Alice is always taller in my stories. Not some 4'11 anorexic girl that can't do anything useful. Anyways...

I had a friend a while ago who was 4'8" and did pretty much whatever she wanted to (except amusement parks)

That may be so, but in terms of being a vampire, it just doesn't click to me. It's like Meyer made all of her females weak on purpose. Oh, wait. She did.
This is why I prefer movie Alice.

Yeah, if you want a tiny woman who kicks a lot of ass there's Vin from the Mistborn series. To me she's essentially Alice.

I dunno, Alice being tiny just doesn't fit with me, like I said. I mean being 5 ft to 5'2ish is small, but that's actually doable in my terms for a badass. Maybe it's just my mind and my own bias-ness, but whatever. It'll just be funny because Alice won't be "pixie-like" as much in the wolf story. Same exact appearance, just a few inches taller and no gold eyes.

To me being tiny and able to kick ass adds to the awesome score. I made a character once that was Alice sized and one of her biggest traits was to be able to command an entire room by presence alone.

Does it ever specify just how tall Alice is in the books?
I guess it's just a personal thing. I have no qualms with people that are shorter, but I don't like imagining Alice as being tiny. It's a me thing.

I think it just says like "just under 5'"
I find a lot of the character description just wonky in the books.

That's because the characters flat out suck in the books. It gives us the chance to improve them, however, which I love doing. Apparently my readers agree given some of the reviews I've gotten regarding characterization. No, it doesn't go to my head, but I do feel a bit of pride for my efforts.
And I'm thankful Meyer was a moron. Her loss.

Yes, yes she is. All of her characters weren't characters at all they were more like caricatures. I think the problem was with a lot of a lot of authors and that's "What the hell do I do if my characters are smarter than I am."
