I myself am a HUGE history buff. So seeing as how the vampires in Twilight are all at least 90 years old, they've seen a lot. I plan on having some of them tell stories about what they've seen.
Has anyone else thought this would be cool?

Yeah, I like hearing things that the Cullens have heard and seen during their charade as a human. Like your Cullens having met the Beatles. That was cool.

Tip of the ice burg.
I had Alice mention she was in Chicago during the roaring 20s. I might get a little more in depth with that later. Alice totally strikes me as the "Shaker Girl" type (;

It's pretty awesome. One of my favourite scenes in a Bella/Alice story is in The Edge, where Alice talks about her experiences in the past. I'd love to have Carlisle's life expanded on a bit more, because he'd have seen so much rapid evolution, technologically and culturally.

For MD the Denali's are still the ages they are in the book Circa 1000, so I'm DEFINITELY touching on what they've seen. Kate's going to be awesome!

You should make Tanya awesome. I think she gets the short end of the stick too often, haha.

Tanya is going to be badass and hot as well. (;
I'm just really excited for my Kate. But Tanya is going to be great!

History isn't my strong point (ask Lemon). I doubt it'll be used much aside from me making sure that I'm historically accurate when I need to be.

Yes, Hollow, asks me a LOT of questions. But it's okay, because I love talking history. That being said, anyone who wants to use real History topics for their stories and needs a little help with information, feel free to ask me. Message me on here, or my FF

I really try to work on the past of all characters, even if it's just a single line mentioned in passing.

same here I love histories. The chapter "Alice" in MD isn't very much of her past, just her beginning and I plan on going more in depth with it later

I like one liners because it's very smoke-and-mirrors for when I don't want to go into a ton of detail right away.

Yeah, it can be a useful tool to build characters (:

I like being able to give little blips of information on characters and then, as time goes on, you get more information to fill in the puzzles. Sometimes that information comes at a point where the character has the spotlight (like Amara in BS), and other times it's a little here, a little there, a little there, etc. Mix it up a bit, makes it more interesting.
