My mom got a job transfer for a few months (she works with an NGO, so she moves around a lot). Originally, I'm British, South African and Zimbabwean. It's a long story. I think I explained it to someone before. Hold on, I'll find the post and quote it.

Okay, so I can't quote something from another thread, but here it is:
<Dar is in Tanzania (Eastern coast of Africa, just under that pointy tip). My mom got a job transfer for a few months. Home, however, is a few miles south - South Africa, although I've got a mixed race thing going on (my mom's British and my Dad's Zimbabwean, but I was born in South Africa and I'm currently living in Tanzania.) It confuses people, so when they ask where I'm from, I just say "Many, many places.">
