That's why I'm going to have a day job. Smh. Writing is just going to be something I do on the side and if I get it finished, I'll then consider making a novel. I find it funny that you would say that since we had started to write a novel in middle school, but now we have completely fallen out of it... hmmm... we really need to pick it up again and touch up any grammar issues, and continue till it's done, cause I don't think we were that far from finishing it lol

True, but still....you don't want to have to rely on your book earnings, especially when you're an author just starting out.

From what I've been reading very few authors manage to make the jump to full time right away. Stephen King was a teacher living with his wife in a trailer when he sold Carrie for 250k
