My little brother claimed to know since I was five, which would make him four. My one older sister said she knew because I was too obsessed with Buffy to not be, and the rest of my family didn't have a clue until I came out to them. My friends were kind of half and half, but all took it very well. The funny thing is I got better at hiding it as I got older. Well maybe hiding isn't the best word, but I don't really introduce my self as a lesbian when meeting new people. A friend of mine at work was blown away when she found out because we'd have deep conversations about relationships. It was only after finding out that she realized I would never actually specify a gender when talking lol

You huys all got the lucky endings. As for me, well, I'm not sure what my ending is going to be.

The lucky endings don't always come write away. Some take time to get there, but if you focus on the positives (as cheesy as it sounds) and you keep striving to make yourself happy and complete without hurting others in the process, you'll have your happy ending too. Not all ending are picture perfect, but I really think it's your out look on things that define if they're happy or not.

Yeah, Twigon, we had a discussion about you on her "Hi everybody" post.
P.S. How did you not know she was here? She posted on this thread before. Lol

Umm, bad eyesight? Sorry? Anyway, back to the topic. I found out about myself pretty quitely. I decided I liked Bellice too much to be natural (that was before I came here, of course!) and in a random sequence of thought, I decided I liked guys just as much as ladies. I decided to test my theory, and the result of said test left no doubt.

Yup! I can be gay when I want to, and straight when I don't. There isn't anywhere a bi isn't invited, so long as the bi part is kept secret.

I like the surprise people have when I tell them though like with my internship this past summer. One guy in particular was making strong advances so to get it clear I came out to him. He couldn't believe it. Saying, "But you are wayyy to girlie and, well, hot to be a lesbian." Major eye rolling occurred. Same thing happened for the rest of the guys there, and even the girls. Some of them were pretty religious too. Those people admitted that it made them think about the perception of gays a bit more because they thought I was a good person and they liked hanging out with me.

That's awesome! Maybe if we spread the word, people will stop the hate!
I once saw a show like that. A dude wanted to stop hate of the negros, so he went around the world talking to people. It was a montage, with insperational music, and it showed his trip around the world by marking everywhere he had been with a rainbow. Just as he was about to convert the last negro-hater, the music came to a screeching halt, he stopped talking, looked into the distance, then said, "Wait... Oprah is black!" Then the music reversed, and it rewinded the entire montage.
I couldn't decide wether to laugh or cry.

I get people caught all the time. I ask someone what they think of me. When I get, "oh you are so nice, such a kind person and considerate too." I ask if they are being sincere and after I get them to work really hard to prove that they consider me a good person, I continue the conversation and eventually end up at homosexuality. Some people get heated and claim all the ignorant beliefs and hurtful things, that they could never be friends with gays or like them. And I love this part, but I'll say, "But how can that be true when only minutes ago you said yourself that you think I am a good person? I am gay, ya know." PRICELESS faces. I've done that 3 times. Every single one has apologized.

Sunshine, you're like a little redheaded knight in brilliant shining armour, standing up for gay people everywhere. It's swoon-worthy *swoon*

Haha, I'm not sure if it is more motivated by doing the right thing or by the satisfaction I get for humiliating an asshole hypocrite. Probably more so the latter. But thanks anyway, snookums.
