Exactly. I'm no twitter fan. I will say I fall for status updates for attention, but I don't friend a gazillion people on facebook, just people I really want to stay in touch with that live over 8 hours away. People turn inward and never come out. I smile at people I don't know on my way to class, and the reactions are so weird. Rarely do I get a genuine one back.

I only friend people I really know, or people I've been talking to for awhile. I'm friends with a couple people I haven't met physically, but I know pretty well. I think that you two would fit towards that category. Now, if I get a random invite from Ahmed and we have no friends in common, yeah, I'm going to reject it. lol
