It's not that rude to excuse yourself for something important. If you have to take a call you do, but don't abuse it either.
People who argue just to argue. They think it's fun to get a rise out of others. I don't like being toyed with.

Some of my family is like that. In their eyes, just because I'm 21, I can't have a reasonable or mature opinion about life or something.

I would have to say yes. If it's my home, I like it clean and my stuff has its own place. I can be pretty forgetful and lose everything otherwise.
I don't like it when people take things without asking. I don't mind sharing so just ask. I will even split my last cookie!
